On grasses and in the herb layer.

Zoophagous : aphids, moth eggs, and small caterpillars. Other prey may include mites, thrips, asparagus beetle and Colorado potato beetle eggs and larvae.

Host plants : Hedera helix, Stipa capensis and Teucrium fruticans.
