Body length : 5,5-7mm.

 

This species is difficult to distinguish from P. longipennis and P. reuteri.

P. dimidiatus : The pale bands on the mid tibiae are equal or narrower in width to the the dark bands. Further examination of the male genitalia required to identify this species.

P. reuteri : The pale bands on the mid tibiae are equal or narrower in width to the the dark bands. Further determination of the male genitalia required to identify this species.

P. longipennis : The pale bands on the mid tibiae are wider than the dark bands.
