Tipula paludosa

This species is difficult to distinguish from T. oleracea.

T. paludosa flies only in late summer and autumn and T. oleracea flies also in spring.

The antennae of T. paludosa has 14 segments and T. oleracea has 13.  The white border on the front part of the wing is more prominent for T. oleracea.
